Before digital workflows took over, broadcast television ran on 3/4-inch U-matic cassettes like these. This set of three from 3M includes two MBR 60 Master Broadcast tapes carrying the Worldwide Sponsor Olympic Games logo, plus one UCA Broadcast cassette, each housed in a hard plastic clamshell case with handwritten production and archival notes still on the labels.
Condition: These are pre-owned vintage tapes. The clamshell cases show light scuffing and typical shelf wear, though the slide latches still work and the cassette housings are intact with no cracks. The ribbons look cleanly wound with no visible wrinkles or tears, but the tapes have not been tested for playback, so they're best suited to collectors, archivists, and fans of vintage broadcast gear.
