Synthesizer pioneer Isao Tomita's monumental performance at the 1984 Linz Ars Electronica festival reimagined classical masterworks through expansive electronic orchestrations. This 1985 RCA Red Seal album captures that visionary open-air concert, pairing Tomita's analog synthesizers with works by Holst, Stravinsky, and Beethoven on an early Japanese-manufactured disc.
Offered in very good condition, the clean disc plays smoothly with no notable defects, and the original booklet and tray card remain crisp with only subtle handling wear along the upper edge. The original jewel case shows modest surface scuffs from standard storage while remaining crack-free, making this historic electronic recording an exceptional piece for any synthesizer aficionado.
